Bluebonnets Reach Shield Final at USA Rugby Club 7s

The Bluebonnets struggled on Day 1 of the USA Rugby National Club 7s Championships but on day two were able to reach the Shield Semi-Finals.

The Bluebonnets defeated the Sacramento Amazons 19-15 to face Philadelphia in the Shield Final. Ultimately the Bluebonnets took 10th place as they were defeated by Philly 31-7.

In the Women's Cup Final, the San Diego Surfers went 6-0 on the weekend and blanked Old Blue of NY 45-0 to clinch the USA Rugby National Club 7s Championship, read more.
